Since 1988, Jan has built something rare in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Not just a sewing store, but a real community. A place where beginners feel welcome, where experienced sewists geek out over machines together, and where you never leave without exactly the help you came for.
Her son Connor saw something in what she built. Not just a business — but a gift. A lifetime of knowledge, warmth, and love for the craft that deserved to reach further than one store in Ohio could ever reach on its own.
So he picked up a camera, sat down with his mom, and started sharing her with the world.
Sew It Online is that vision — Connor's mission to take everything Jan poured into this community for over three decades and bring it to every sewist, everywhere, no matter where they live or what time it is when inspiration strikes.

We've had customers drive three hours — and some fly in from across the country — just to walk through our doors. We think that says everything.
We're conveniently located right off I-71 — easy to find whether you're coming from down the street or across the state.
