Equipped with an 8-piece feed dog and a new presser foot design, the 454D offers smooth-sailing fabric feeding across multiple layers and a variety of fabric types. With adjustable stitch length (from 1mm to 4mm) and cutting width (ranging from 3.1mm to 7.3mm), this serger provides precise control over your stitching, while its differential feed, adjustable from 0.5mm to 2.25mm, ensures that lightweight fabrics won't pucker and knits retain their shape.
Setting up the Janome MyLock 454D Sailing Line Serger is easy, thanks to its color-coded threading system and an Easy Threading Lower Looper that simplifies the threading process. For additional versatility, you can effortlessly switch to a rolled hem without adjusting the needle plate, presser foot, or tension settings, streamlining your workflow. The machine's Hanenite rubber feet reduce vibration and noise, creating a stable and quiet sewing experience, and its enhanced motor torque ensures reliable performance, even on thicker fabrics.
